Project Description

The Western Montana Chapter of Safari Club International hosts an annual fundraising banquet every spring.  This annual banquet is an integral part of the Chapters’ fundraising efforts, raising 90% of their yearly donations.  Meetings Northwest works with the banquet committee developing the program for the event.  Assisting in everything from site negotiations to marketing to ensuring that special guests needs are met, Meetings Northwest covers all the details:

  • Advertising including print (newspaper, newsletter, postcards & auction mailers), radio, and online
  • Registration – attendees can purchase their tickets ahead of time by going online or calling our toll-free number
  • Onsite payments – we provide a secure credit card terminal allowing for easy check-out when the event is completed
  • Live Auction Posters & Auction Presentation prep
  • Disabled Hunter Coordination (seating, rooms, meals, etc.)
  • Speaker coordination (travel, lodging, special needs, etc.)

Meetings Northwest also organizes the Annual Holiday Mixer for Western Montana SCI and provides administrative support to the Chapter (to learn more about our administrative services, go here.)

As a Board Member of a non-profit organization in Western Montana for the last six years and I have had the pleasure of working with Meetings Northwest. Our main event each year is a banquet/fundraiser, and the Meetings Northwest seasoned staff acts as an extension of our organization. They are involved with pre-planning, menu planning, communications, advertising, post-event evaluations, and financial management.

Each and every person working for Meetings Northwest is very personable, can multi-task, and works very well under pressure. These qualities have been a big plus for our organization and ultimately have benefitted our bottom line.
