Project Description
Wetland Pollutant Dynamics and Control Annual Conference (or WETPOL) is held in different European countries biennially. In 2017, this primarily European event introduced itself to the United States and was hosted by Montana State University-Bozeman, with Meetings Northwest as their meeting planners.
Meetings Northwest duties included:
- Agenda coordination (a scientific committee reviewed abstracts)
- Event Branding/Marketing (logo, website, save the dates, banners, print materials, email campaigns, etc.)
- Speaker invitations (and corresponding VISA needs)
- Sponsor procurement and coordination
- Pre-event destination activities (Yellowstone National Park tours, rafting, horse back riding)
- Networking events (on-site and off-site)
- On-site Event Management
- Off-Site Tours.
- Registration consultation
- Event App set-up and integration
This was one of the best conferences I have participated in thus far in my career.
