Project Description

Meetings Northwest has had the fun opportunity to coordinate the Ol’ Wild West Fest for several years. This is one of the events we feel honored to donate our time and energy to.  Set at historic Fort Missoula in Missoula, MT, visitors to the Ol’ Wild West Fest step back in history to a time when every man carried a gun, cooking involved a wood stove (or open fire), and community gatherings embraced dancing!

The two-day festival happens every year in August and includes the following ol’ western style activities for the whole family to enjoy:

  • Blacksmithing
  • Chuckwagon Cook-off
  • Spinning and Rope Making
  • Cowboy Poetry
  • Fashion Show (period clothing/reproductions)
  • Food
  • Gold Panning
  • Pony Rides
  • Horse Packing Demonstrations
  • Grand Ball
  • Music
  • Native American Displays
  • Quilt Show
